Lynn Waldron respond? Not yet? I've seen the website of Dr. Waldron before while doing online research on the Congo, but thought that the blatant self-promotion at the site was a bit S-T-R-A-N-G-E.

So this is the Gizenga that my friend from Kinshasa BREhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09668844948345978806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8486171.post-1156543816599680882006-08-25T18:10:00.000-04:002006-08-25T18:10:00.000-04:00Your assuming that with age comes wisdom/maturity ...Your assuming that with age comes wisdom/maturity and/or that experience is the best teacher. That was a long time ago, though, and given how much the current constitutional structure resembles the First Republic, his experience could be valuable.

If it were up to me, Kashala would be president, but he doesn't seem to have the organization or baseAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8486171.post-1156475514881874632006-08-24T23:11:00.000-04:002006-08-24T23:11:00.000-04:00Hey Jonathan, do you know about Gizenga's history?...Hey Jonathan, do you know about Gizenga's history?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8486171.post-1156351563703972852006-08-23T12:46:00.000-04:002006-08-23T12:46:00.000-04:00Hi Ali :)I was very sad over the last news from DR...Hi Ali :)
I was very sad over the last news from DRC and hope that things will settle down soon.
Take care of yourself :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8486171.post-1156349787474281972006-08-23T12:16:00.000-04:002006-08-23T12:16:00.000-04:00I wonder if the best outcome in light of all this ...I wonder if the best outcome in light of all this would be a de facto Kabila-Bemba-Gizenga triumvirate, in which whoever doesn't become president is named prime minister and Gizenga is named VP or president of the senate.
