Rabbi backs India's 'lost Jews'

One of Israel's chief rabbis recognises an Indian tribe as lost descendants of ancient Israelites.

Well, the Jewish diaspora has really gone everywhere. Come to think of it, my Japanese roomate in College told me about a theory by which some Japanese - and some Chinese - were convinced that there was a direct link between them and the Jews, as some of their religious traditions involved carrying around an ark, with laws... which kind of reminds of the Ark of the covenant. I wonder...
