Bush, Precedent and Privacy

Bush letter to Congress defends surveillance efforts

Nation's security outweighs privacy, administration says

Washington - The Bush administration formally defended its domestic
spying program in a letter to Congress late Thursday, saying the nation's
security outweighs privacy concerns of individuals who are monitored. (...)

I wonder what the Founding Fathers of the United States of America - though I kind of dispute their title - would say about this new attitude by the US government. The end always seems to justify the means for the Bush administration... even when it means turning on its own people. What dare I say, with the fear of the almighty Intelligence Agencies someday knocking at my door to make me disappear? That reminds me of another era in my life (the 80's), in another country (Mobutu's Zaire). I will however ask this: Does the aim of protecting the right to privacy - among other rights and freedoms, justify trampling that very right (especially in such broad and unrestricted methods as used under the Patriot Act, and the apparently newly found Presidential powers)? The logic in my head says NO, in hammering clarity. But hey, it might just be me. I want to hear your thoughts. I wonder...

The Bush administraiton has been nothing if consistent in one area: they've consistently advocated that in order to spread freedom, liberty and democracy abroad, it must fight those things at home. That's why Americans are becoming increasingly disillusioned with his so-called leadership, though many of us never thought much of him ever.

SABOTAGE …..NO ?....
BRITISH FAIR-PLAY….YES ?

Since 1988 ( 17 years ) , we are surviving like “ Political Prisoner “ under “ House Arrest “ , under persecution , daily harassment and demoniac interference into our private and professional life , never been interviewed by Police or Security Services for 17 years about the allegations made against us , being kept in the dark about the whole process ( without any legal representation ) ; being kept uncommunicado from relatives and siblings , media being banned from running our story ; and whole life being un-settled .

In 2002 , after leaving German Software giant SAP UK , we set up 2 new Business ventures which came very quickly under sabotage from Day 1 :
