Censorship at Oscars irks many

The presence of such heavy-handed censorship, in the country that claims to stand for freedom of expression, and freedom in general, have always irked me too. And the fact that the Republicans, who are all about smaller involvement of government, are those who support this kind of heavy-handed government regulation of morality, just boggles my mind.
