Holy Land: Sharon and the Settlements

Israel confirms settlement growth

The Israeli government has confirmed plans to increase the size of its largest settlement in the West Bank.

Approximately 3,500 homes are planned for Maale Adumim, east of Jerusalem.

And then one wonders why the Palestinians do not trust the Israeli government. Israel, like its closest ally the US, has shown its propensity to ignore International Law when it suits them, and hold everybody else to that same International Law when it is in their own interests. Double standards have NEVER bred peace and understanding. NEVER.
