Proud to be Africans - polls say

'We are proud to be Africans'

More than 90% of Africans are proud of their continent, a new survey conducted for the BBC shows.
While many people in the rest of the world see Africa as plagued by war and poverty, many Africans are far more positive about their lives.

And so am I!!! I am mostly proud of our rich past, still to be explored, and our vast amounts of resources - natural and human - still to be tapped into. Ia n an eternal hopeful for Congo, and Africa. Hopefully my lifetime will allow me to go back home, and participate meaningfully in transforming that hope into reality.
